NON-ALCOHOLIC ORANGE SPRITZ
1 cocktail 5 minutes Alcohol free

An iconic Italian aperitif
The Spritz is the emblem of Italian aperitifs, refreshing and sparkling, ideal for enjoying the end of days on the terrace.
Non-alcoholic spritz, a light and festive alternative
A non-alcoholic spritz must retain its sparkling and bitter side, while being refreshing and balanced.
Its history dates back to the 19th century, when the Austro-Hungarian Empire controlled part of Northern Italy, particularly Veneto. Austrian soldiers, finding the local wines too strong, would dilute them with sparkling water, saying "spritzen" (to spray in German). Gradually, this habit evolved into a structured cocktail with sparkling wine and an Italian bitter.
Today, there are several variations, but purists often divide between the orange bitter-based Spritz (the most well-known) and the limoncello Spritz, a sweeter and more lemony alternative.
