Different categories of data may be collected and processed by our company:

  • Connection data related to a user account: name (of user), email address, password, security question and answer to that question, login times... ; 
  • Information related to the products and/or services you wish to order, your favourite products or services, your interests, the preferences you communicate through our website or online shop...
  • Data that you provide when consulting our website, or using our applications. On this occasion, the following information may be processed: pages and websites visited and searches using cookies (chosen language, ...), data that you enter yourself on websites or in applications and other data that our company can access (for example, location data...).
  • Complaints or comments made about our services,
  • Data that may be collected through surveillance systems that equip the buildings occupied by the company,

We can also collect and process data from other sources such as, among others, the purchase or rental of data collected by suppliers who specialise in this activity, business partners, public sources, social media...

As part of our activities, we also offer our clients a loyalty programme that allows them to benefit from commercial and promotional advantages.

In this context, we may collect certain personal data necessary for the management of this programme, including: first name, surname, address, date of birth, email address, phone number as well as information related to purchases made and the use of benefits linked to the programme.

This data is used to:

  • Create and manage your loyalty account;
  • Record the points or benefits accumulated;

  • Right of rectification: You can request the rectification of your data. It may happen that some data held by WINES & DREAMS S.A. about you is not or is no longer correct. You can always request that it be rectified or completed.

  • Right to erasure: You can request the deletion of your data when you suspect that it is being processed improperly by the company or simply when you want to exercise your right to be forgotten.

  • Right to restriction: You have the right to object to a specific use of your data.

  • Right to data portability: You can request to transfer directly to a third party all personal data you have provided to WINES & DREAMS S.A.

    In the event that WINES & DREAMS S.A. requests your permission for the processing of your data, you will always be able to withdraw your consent yourself at any time thereafter.

Opting out of marketing communications: You can unsubscribe from our promotional communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. This unsubscribe only concerns the sending of marketing communications and does not automatically result in the deletion of your data related to your customer account or your participation in the loyalty programme. If you wish to have your data completely deleted, you can request this via web@comptoirdesvins.be

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

 

6. Our guarantees regarding confidentiality:

Within WINES & DREAMS S.A., only authorised persons have access to your personal data and only if that data is relevant to the execution of their duties. Your data is generally processed and accessed only by certain services:

  • With which you have or wish to have a contractual relationship

  • Whose intervention is necessary for the provision of our services

  • Who meet legal requirements, requirements imposed by supervisory authorities, and requirements arising from the proper management of the business

The data management programmes we process are hosted on a dedicated web server and the information is recorded in a unique database containing all the data necessary for the proper functioning of the system.

The server is hosted by a European provider, which is itself subject to the GDPR.

The data we process is always protected using SSL encryption providing security between the client browser and the server hosting our website. This encryption is compatible with 99% of web browsers.

 

7. The processing of data by third parties

Personal data may be shared with partners, suppliers or other subcontractors of S.A WINES & DREAMS when processing by these third parties is necessary for the conclusion of contracts, the execution of tasks, the use of the company's services, its website or its applications, in compliance with our legal obligations ...

WINES & DREAMS S.A. engages partners or subcontractors established in the European Union.

The required agreements are always concluded with these partners, suppliers or other agents in order to limit the use and processing of your personal data and to ensure adequate protection of it.

WINES & DREAMS S.A. ensures that the involved subcontractors only have access to the data they need for the execution of their tasks and commit to:

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned in point 2 of this Privacy Policy.
